As we head towards another weekend, it strikes me again what a fun place this is to live. There is literally always something happening.

Just this past weekend it was riot participating in the Mr. PG Pageant a long running tradition dating back to at least the 90s (that’s at least as far as anybody can remember it happening). We are just under 2 weeks away from the Festival of Trees opening, This year in the CN Centre (February 26th – 30th)

If that weren’t enough in the past week we have had Mid-Week Cougars game (they won both over the Royals), Music Bingo, Flight Nights in support of Kiwanis Ale Fest (and a chance to win tickets to the event) and Alex Mackenzie will perform at Vanier Hall. Since we just mentioned Kiwanis Alefest tickets go on sale on the 29th of November and since this will be their 10 year anniversary they are asking you to dress up in the style of your favourite decade. The event it’s self will take place Jan 30th and 31st of 2026.

It is mind blowing how busy this town stays month in and month out, we are pretty lucky to live here.
